NPDES Sampling

Argus routinely performs grab and composite sampling for all NPDES related parameters.  For routine clients, Argus uses preprinted Chains-of-Custody.

EPA 1669 Sampling

Clean Hands/Dirty Hands is the special sampling technique required for low level metals analysis.  This technique requires a minimum of two technicians.  Argus' field technicians are well trained in this special sampling technique.

Ground water monitoring

Argus' field services technicians have the capability to sample monitoring wells up to a depth of 200 feet.  Other field measurements include methane monitoring, pH, conductivity, turbidity, and temperature.  Extensive field log provided.

Sample Kits & Containers

Once your routine requirements have been entered into our data base, Argus will automatically ship kits to you well in advance of your scheduled sampling event.  For routine NPDES sampling, these kits will include preprinted Chains-of-Custody and all the required containers with the appropriate preservatives.

For non-routine sampling events, Argus typically supplies sampling kits at no extra cost.  However, shipping charges will be applied if overnight courier services are requested.  Please contact us to order sampling kits.

Other Types of Sampling Events

For other sampling activites, such as lagoon closures and land applications, Argus personnel usually work under the direction of the client or an environmental engineering firm.  Please contact Client Services for further information.
