Accreditations
Argus' primary certifications are with NELAC and the MS Department of Health.  Also, numerous local and national environmental engineering firms, manufacturing operations, municipalities, and waste disposal facilities have successfully audited Argus. 
 
Argus retains NELAP Accreditation, with Louisiana as the Primary Accreditation Authority for the Fields of Testing for which Argus is certified (Certificate Number 04023).  Click here for the initial page of the list of certified parameters.
 
MS Department of Health.  Argus is certified in drinking water by the State of Mississippi for total coliform, metals, and organics.
 
The American Industrial Hygiene Association: (AIHA).  AIHA has judged Argus "Proficient" for lead analyses in soil, paint chips, and air matrices.
 
Past Certifications have included the USEPA as part of the Information Collection Rule (ICR), the United States Army Corps of Engineers (metals, DRO, GRO, pesticides and PCBs), and the State of Tennessee's UST division.  Also, Argus was registered with the Food and Drug Administration and Argus maintained a permit with the USDA for importing foreign soil for analysis.
